We were previously using an in-house developed system which was basically spreadsheet based and our I.T. department could not add logical process flows or intelligence to the system without rebuilding it from scratch.

There were a number of other limitations with this including a lack of intelligence, back-up and support and poor scalability to match our expanding operations.

We were looking for a commercial off-the-shelf solution that offered configuration and flexibility to adapt to our changing requirements.

It had to offer best practices and ensure a structured management approach which INX did.

The use of the system forced us to create order in all other support systems in our Company.

Older systems tend to run on Excel based tables whereas INX uses an intelligent “Tree Structure”. This eliminated duplication by more than 80% in the system, particularly in risk assessments.

A large number of new statistics and documents have also been formulated since the implementation of INX.

We created high level risk assessments as well as the control/training mechanism used is specifications, which is derived from the risk assessment controls.

These are company standards and can only be changed by an appointed panel to ensure great standardisation, consistency and the overall reduction of risks and increase in compliance.

The training and implementation were excellent as is the current support.
